JEFFREY C. SCHROEDER

Ponderosa Homes II, Inc.

Jeffrey (Jeff) is responsible for all aspects of land acquisition, entitlement processing, site development and construction supervision for Ponderosa Homes, a privately held homebuilder located in Pleasanton, CA. Jeff’s activities include land acquisition, project conceptualization, market research, financial analysis, land planning, product design and entitlement processing. Jeff also oversees site development and manages the project superintendents responsible for home construction and delivery.

Prior to joining Ponderosa Homes in April 1999, Jeff was responsible for land acquisition, planning and entitlement efforts for Ryland Homes, Greystone Homes, KB Homes, and AM Homes in areas as diverse as the Bay Area, Sacramento, the Central Valley, and Coachella Valley. Having worked for major public and private home builders in California, Jeff has been responsible for the development of thousands of homes in the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Southern California.

Jeff has a BA from Virginia Tech (1985) and a Master of City and Regional Planning from U.C. Berkeley (1989). He has served as the chairman of the Building Industry Association (BIA), South Bay division and the Bay Area region. Jeff served on the California Building Industry Association (CBIA) Board starting in 2000 and served as the Chair of the CBA PAC from 2018 to 2022. In 2023, Jeff served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of (CBIA).

Jeff and his wife Annie split their time between Pleasanton and a rural property near El Dorado Hills east of Sacramento. Jeff is an avid bicyclist, both road and mountain, he, and Annie enjoy hiking and travel. Jeff and Annie have three children and two grandsons: Evan (wife Kristin, sons Chris & Derek), Leah and Sarah.
