Morgan Miller Blair

Ken Miller has over 30 years of experience as a civil trial lawyer that he brings to bear for clients in real estate related matters. Prior to entering private practice, Ken served as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 1985, he co-founded Morgan Miller Blair with Bert Morgan (ret.) and Richard Blair.

Ken’s practice emphasizes risk management, litigation and counseling clients in construction, real estate and related insurance issues. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to complex construction and real estate matters, primarily representing and counseling home builders and developers. He works with senior management of his homebuilder/developer clients in all aspects of their product construction and sales.

A trained mediator and arbitrator, Ken pioneered the first advisory jury proceedings in Contra Costa County Superior Court. He has acted as an advocate in hundreds of real estate and construction settlement conferences and mediations. Ken has been recognized as a Northern California “Super Lawyer” in the Law & Politics magazine surveys consecutively from 2004-2009.

​Ken graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and holds a law degree from University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the Contra Costa County and Napa County Bar Associations, as well as the Building Industry Association of the Bay Area and the North State Building Industry Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the Napa Valley Symphony from 2004 to 2007.
