Dan has devoted his career to providing financial services to the homebuilding industry. In his current role as Executive Director of Enterprise Partnerships and Acquisitions for loanDepot, he continues to create solutions for homebuilders and the customers they serve. In his career he has honed his leadership skills, guiding over 50,000 mortgage sales professionals through the market cycles to serve homebuilders nationwide.

Starting with Safeco Title in 1978, Dan managed 5 Southern California counties, and eventually the entire state of California providing builder title services. In 1986, he pivoted to the mortgage business joining Directors Mortgage, where he created their national builder platform until their sale to Norwest Mortgage in 1994.

For the next 38 years, Dan forged strategic relationships with homebuilders and led some of the largest mortgage firms in America. He was the architect of homebuilder marketing for Norwest, Wells Fargo, Countrywide, iMortgage and now currently at loanDepot. Each of these organizations achieved the #1 rating in the country for new construction mortgages during his tenure.

Throughout his business career, Dan served as a board member in various BIA chapters and California associations that include Bay View, Orange County, BIASC, CBIA and the California Housing Foundations. He was a founding member of HomeAid Orange County that evolved into HomeAID America, in which he remains on the national board. He has always had a passion for working with homebuilders to help provide shelter in an effort to combat homelessness.

In addition to his work pursuits, Dan has supported several philanthropic organizations that include Free Wheelchair Mission, Hope International, HOAG Hospital, and is now on the board of trustees for his Alma Mater, the University of Redlands.

Away from work, Dan enjoys life in Laguna Beach, CA with Durene, his wife of 48 years, their two children Alec and Kristin, and four grandchildren. Tennis, Golf, Travel and family vacations are some of his favorite things to do.
